I know to outsiders this looks like the Greeks at FSU are turning on each other but in reality it is non-Greeks doing the vast majority of the negative posting to make ALL the Greeks look bad. Trust me FSU has a very strong and proud Greek system.

what did everyone think of the first day of rush?

I loved all of the houses that I visited, except one. In one house, they put our arms behind our backs and walked us from room to room like we were in prison or something. They seemed very military. All of the other houses were very fun and conversations were great!! Can't wait for day two!!

Ew what creepers!! That's not right.. they shouldn't touch you or make you do anything at all - the most you should do is hold a water and sit in a chair. Talk to your Rho Gam in the morning, that's might need to be reported.

If the girls didn't touch you, then you have no reason to freak out. The arm behind the back is a guiding gesture, we did it at my house in previous years. As long as you weren't touched, i don't see why you're freaking out.

PS: Try not to confuse "military" with poise. You must have visited a top house and got intimidated. You're rushing a SORORITY, not a social club. Things are stepped up during this week. Relax.

girls do that to look professional and not sloppy when the door is opened and you get your first impression of their house....

they only place their hand upon your back to guide you through THEIR house which you have never been in. common sense?

Ah this site freaks me out!! But i'm rushing, and i love it! Mostly everygirl was so nice. I'm really excited for tomorrow. DG and Tridelt are probably my favorites right now!
