sorority comments

Dirty Rushing...basically during the summer we are not allowed to talk to PNMs and sway them into liking the sorority that they are in. We are not allowed to talk to you or take you out with us or even be friends with you on facebook. You are suppose to go into rush with an open mind. Unfortuntly some sororities try to dirty rush girls so that they will rank them at the top when it comes down to the last day.

I don't know why I'm addicted to this site. It's just as hard not to rank yourself as it is not to yell for FSU at a football game. These rankings are sort of a joke. I do agree that there are 3 or 4 very strong houses but only a couple compete for the same girls. With the new "release figures" those top houses will release up to 50% after icewaters anyway right? The rankings below 4 or 5 are up for grabs. ..The great girls just end up getting spread out into the other 11 great houses. Face it FSU is famous for having very pretty girls and many would argue that the lower tiered houses at FSU are better looking and hotter that the top at UF or other schools. Go FSU !!! GO GREEK!!!

in my opinion, not everyones, the top 5 look pretty good but after that it's a catastrophe

I read some earlier posts on accepting junior members. I was wondering if you just got your AA and transfered into FSU if it would help or hinder your rushing success? Also, if a upcoming junior has a lot of rec's does it help at all? Thanks!

i'm not sure. each sorority has different rules, etc. my advice, not just to you but to everyone going through recruitment, is to be yourself at every house and what's meant to be will be.

some sororities will accept juniors if you wow them. a lot won't. if you're going in wanting a certain house, you may as well not go through. if you're going through wanting a sisterhood, then yes, you may get a bid somewhere.
