Will sigma chi take over dchi house?
by: ?If delta chi is going to be losing their house does that mean sigma chi is moving in?

Dchi is not losing their house. Phi Delt doesn't have the numbers to fill the house, not even close and they can't afford the mortagage without leasing it to dchi. Once they do have enough members, they'll have to maintain those numbers consistently for several semesters and have an established financial record with reserves before their advisors and housing corp will allow them to take over the house again.

Delta Chi has a lease so even if Phi Delt could afford it they can't get the house back until the lease is up. Even though phi delt "owns" the house they don't really own it because the land is leased and the county board that manages the Heritage Grove property has some say in it, as do the board members who control the LLC that owns the house on behalf of phi delt. They're not going to let a bunch of 18 year old boys with no established brotherhood and no experience runnnig a fraternity and its finances take on that house and expenses anytime soon. LOL
