Not at all. Nothing can change your ranking on a sorority's bid list. If you are high enough on their bid list to match with them before they reach quota you get that bid. If you are not high enough and you SIP, you are out of the process at that point and will not get a bid.
If you had ranked your second house, what would have happened is that when you didn't match with #1, the process would have looked at your #2 to see if you were high enough on their bid list to match with them before they reached quota and you would have got that bid. If you were not high enough to match with them either, you would have been placed as a Quota Addition, which tends to try to place you with your #1 if at all possible.
