Dropping Alpha Gam unfortunately. Nice girls they really are, but gosh are they so awkward. It feels like they’re trying to SELL to everyone that their sisterhood is the best instead of actually just being sisters and showing it naturally/organically. It’s really obvious and really terrifying tbh bc I want to actually have real connections with my sisters and not just lose them after I accept my bid and pay my dues. Also on top of that I’ve just heard so much from everyone in my rush group that I feel as though if I were to stick with this particularly house, I’d lose out on a lot of these friends who are great people but do value their social standing which I totally understand and get. People have different priorities in life I guess. If Alpha Gam is all you’ve got left and you truly still really really want to be in Greek life irregardless of anything else, I’d give it a shot - the house is really nice and the sisters are kind enough.

Yeah no I actually saw this and can second. I could kind of tell a lot of these girls weren’t very popular in HS, and wanted to continue that trend in college. I have tons of friends who worked on themselves in HS and glowed up to the point where they were absolute hotties by the time freshman year and rush came up. Maybe I’m just a little uptight but for MOST of the girls in this chapter to fit the description of girls who’ve given up socially in HS and want to continue that trend in college………….. I’m going to have to pass. Sorry.
