gpa requirements for sororities
by: gpaWhat are the gpa requirements for sororities to give out bids? I have a 3.49 and wanted to know if they would round it up to a 3.5 or if just be automatically cut? I also wanted to know that if a chapter did have a gpa requirement I didn’t meet but I explained to them ab my hard major or working multiple jobs would they make an exception if they genuinely liked me? Do high school gpas get looked at for upperclassmen or only college? THANK YOUUU!

Your high school GPA does not matter anymore. Yes, if a sorority absolutely LOVES someone they will not cut them for a 3.4. If you have a 3.49, they should consider the difficulty of your major and if you were involved in anything else where you had to manage your time along with your grades, as well as the reputation of the school you are coming from. But all that's out of your hands now, so you are far better off focusing on what you can control: your appearance and your conversations.

No. No one has that information. Not even a chapter member can answer that concretely. If they like you enough you can get in with a 3.49. Just stop already. There is no crystal ball for you.
