Do FSU fraternities summer rush?

I’m enrolling in FSU from out of state (Kansas City) and evidently most of the fraternities here fill their pledge classes before fall classes start. No one knows me here. How much of a disadvantage will I be under if I wait till formal rush in the fall? Should I wait and get to know people and then go through rush in the winter?

Not really. Just a few of them. You won’t miss anything by waiting till you get here.

Can’t speak for all but idt any frat fully fills their pc in the summer. Rushing in fall like normal is fine. Sure some frats may prebid a lot of summer kids but it’b stupid to not leave open spots for kids that haven’t even stepped foot on campus yet.
