Do the summer events actually count for anything

I attended summer fest and I liked everyone I met but I’m a junior and I don’t have a ton on my resume (but my gpa is really high) so it made me nervous to talk to anyone for a long time. Are they going to ask me why I’m rushing as a Junior and expect me to have a ton of stuff on my resume? I focused on school the first two years and plan on getting more involved.

It is what it is/worrying won’t change your circumstances. Put your best foot forward, smile, and be friendly and interested in ALL the chapters. Why ARE you rushing as a junior? Think about it, and prepare a good positive answer in case you are asked. “I have had a great experience at FSU so far, but I feel that something is missing. I’m looking for a connection beyond classmates and sports fans. I would like to be a part of a sisterhood where I can make lifelong friends.” Or something to that effect.
