Srat/frats purpose??

Does anyone stop for a second and think abt how cringe srats and frats actually r like no one cares

We're so sorry the existence of fraternities and sororities upsets you, but unless you're a member this is none of your concern. College "Greek" organizations are almost as old as America itself. The original purposes of nearly every college Greek organization was fellowship/brotherhood/sisterhood among like-minded individuals. Membership is for life. There doesn't need to be a 'purpose' other than those relationships.

If you don't care about sororities and fraternities that's just fine! Move along, go do what you care about, and just leave Greek life to the several thousand students who do care about it.

I bet all the philanthropies and community organizations sororities and fraternities raise lots of money for, bring awareness to for their causes and countless volunteer hours, would definitely care. Especially dance marathon. If you don’t care, just move along.
