Upperclasswomen getting bids

by:

Hey everyone. I am transferring in as a junior and will be rushing in the fall. Is there a separate quota for sophs, juniors, and seniors? If so, how is that quota decided? Thank you for your help.

Yes, freshman and sophomore have a different quota then Juniors and seniors. Freshman and sophomore quota is obviously much higher but lots of juniors and a few seniors get bids. Panhellenic determinate the quote based on how many women are participating/finish the process in rush including junior and seniors by using a formula. I personal know several women who rushed as a junior and had amazing experiences. Go for it.

Not quite accurate. There are two quotas, one for freshmen and one for upperclassmen. They are each determined the same way, the number of pnms signing cards after prefs divided by the number of sororities = quota. It is important to remember that quota is an upper maximum limit and not a required minimum number for the sororities to take. Don't worry about quota, if you are invited to pref and list them on your card you will get a bid.
