can sophomores get bids?

by: OOS

I'm from out of state, and although I have enjoyed FSU so far, fall and spring rush didn't go so well and I did not get any bids. I obviously didn't know any Florida kids when I got here and that probably didn't help. Is it even possible to get a bid as a sophomore, or should I just accept that I'm not FSU frat material? Nearly all my close friends from back home go to places like Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee and got bids at their schools.

You should have no trouble getting a fraternity bid here. Fraternity chapters are pretty big and they pledge lots of sophomores and juniors.

Where did you rush? I'd say if you didn't get a bid either semester it'd be smart to try some of the smaller chapters if you were rushing the bigger ones.

More kids get bids in the fall so you have a better chance. A lot of spring kids are pre bids or know a lot of the actives
