What's the rushing process for fraternities?

I'm transferring from a northern school and I know the rush process was very formal there and they would take pics of every kid and put it on a slideshow and send emails if you were invited back to closed rush. Is it the same here or can anybody at rush give you a bid at any time?

The rush process you are describing you got from watching 'Animal House'. Rush here at FSU is open and easy. Meet guys, get a bid.

Rush is easy here. There are about 16 IFC fraternities plus a lot of black and multiculturals. It’s not a typical southern school. There’s a lot of diversity. There are very big frats and very small feats. Look around and find a place that feels right to you.
