Opinions on Joining AGD

AGD has a beautiful home. They have a long and distinguished history at FSU, with many influential alumni. AGD is a strong national sorority.
AGD may be down at the moment but everyone takes a turn at a lower level, and then they come back towards the top.
So no, you are not making a mistake. Join AGD and help them regain their rightful place toward the top.
And for the record, men don’t choose girls because of their sorority letters. Men really don’t care. The only people posting about sororities on Greek Rank are sorority women.

Previous comment was written by an alpha gam sister. The reality is that it IS social suicide if you join alpha gam. You tell someone those letters and they’ll automatically think less of you at fsu. Maybe not at other schools (doubtful, look at their rankings across most other big Greek schools), but at fsu, only a very certain type of girl goes alpha gam. Good luck sis, make the right decision for yourself and your future.

One of my best friends is in AGD and she is a lovely person. You can see joining them as "social suicide" or you can choose to look past the high school mentality of those who care about rankings. If you truly felt good vibes when talking to the girls then go for it! They are nice girls, people just hate because they dont all fit the sorority girl sterotype

I want you to find one guy on the entire Florida state university campus who will proudly say “my girlfriend is in alpha gamma delta!” It’s embarrassing for them.

If you pick literally any other sorority, you will have a fine college experience.
