okay so i’ve reached out to VP of COB and VP of recruitment for a house and they both got back to me that they really want to meet me and to attend orientation. i don’t know if this means they’re interested in me or not. their main instagram hasn’t responded to anyone yet and i want to know how to approach them at orientation and how to stand out

i mean i feel like you've already shown interest lol! i dont really know what to tell u with making an impression, but as long as you say hey and say that you reached out then i feel like that demonstrates that u r interested. if they are interested in u they will either set something up or send someone to recruit u or give u an invite to their event.

it is different for every sorority! since spring cob is less structured than fall, there isn't a specific bid day for all the chapters. last year alpha phi had theirs the day after orientation and there were some that were like a week and a half after orientation.

you don’t really get “dropped” like in formal recruitment! :) but if you’ve met up with a chapter multiple times or had a 1 on 1 with them i wouldn’t get too hopeful ab a bid from a specific chapter, but you can try another.

heyy i filled out their interest forms and then they reached out to me by text! chi o gave me a bid after i met with them once, which is usually how it is with my friends who cob'd other sororities. usually it is just 1 event or 1 coffee meetup
