I heard plenty did
by: bruhHow many girls dropped out of recruitment today? I heard that so many did. Why?

Not getting top houses is hardly the issue. How many are top? If at the end of the process, the houses the girl has been ranking last are the ones left, clearly the process is saying to the girl we don't care what you like, you get what we have left or nothing. Hence 3 out of 10 drop. And they should.

The dirty truth is the process fails a big group of girls in the middle. It seems like they want to string girls along as far as possible for quotas to houses these girls have no interest in joining. They haven't been honest with you regarding the process and the large percentage that get lost in the end.

My grandmother told me that back in the day, the sororities could ask as many back as they wanted. The top groups would ask back lots of girls they were not going to bid to pad their parties and would take these girls though pref parties and then drop them. Those girls had dropped the houses where they could've gotten a bid because the popular houses were stringing them along, and they ended up with no bid at all. Would that be better?

Some girls go into rush with VERY unrealistic expectations. If they don’t get “top houses”back they drop, instead of see what the other amazing sororities have to offer. It actually works out for the best. We don’t want girls that only want certain sororities as much as they don’t want certain sororities. They usually are in it for the “letters only” and don’t participate much even if they got the sorority they wanted.
