How do you know if you like a house or not with a 20 minute conversation with one or two sisters at each sorority? Not to mention your PC hasn't even been picked yet so you haven’t meet those girls and that’s who your best friends are. The older girls you are meeting already have their friend group. If you dropped today you are shallow and spend too much time listening to other’s opinions.

Why? Based on a 20 minute conversation with two sisters out of 200? Plus you haven’t even meet your PC. Those are they girls you would be hanging out with. The older girls already have their friend group. If you can’t find 10 girls in each sorority that could be your friend group then you are the problem. Not the sorority.

In all honestly the computer doesn’t pick the sorority for you. If you weren’t invited back that simply means you were ranked too low on that sororities call back list, or possibly not on the list at all. The computer simply goes down the invite list till that sorority has the maximum amount of girls they can invite back. Some of the popular sororities max out their invite list quickly, where others go through their entire list and still haven’t filled their list. Sorry to hurt your feeling but again, the computer does not pick your sorority, the sorority picks or doesn’t pick you.

Considering there is absolutely no way you are basing your top houses on anything other then being superficial when you have spent a grand total of maybe 20 minutes at each house and met and spoke to maybe two sisters, yes, that’s being shallow.

True but going into round 3 which started today you could have had a max of 8 houses. So you had bad vibes for 8 houses?! You couldn’t have seen a little something in a few of those? Or dud you only get invited back to a couple? Then that’s the sororities not inviting you back and then of course, drop!

I chose my sorority based on the third round. It was a sorority that I did not expect to like, was low on my list and had average conversations at the previous events. The girl that rushed me was matched perfectly and I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. I knew that day that was where I was supposed to be. The girl that rushed me? She’s now my big. What difference is two more days out of your life to go to the houses you have remaining? There’s a chance you could be wrong and find the house that WANTS you as opposed to the house that Did not.

The max for round 3 today and tomorrow was actually 7 houses you could be invited back to but we get the point. Not feeling the vibe for 7 different houses seems like a personal problem not a sorority problem.

The saddest part of the whole thing is nobody cares what sorority you are in and the “rankings” aren’t even accurate. But freshman don’t see it like that, yet. They are still in high school mentality.

A lot of houses don’t do spring rush and if they do they only take a select few. In other words it’s definitely the girls they already know. So do what you want but don’t bank on getting in the spring either and it’s definitely not as fun coming in late. Fall in a sorority is so much fun.

There’s no guarantee the houses that didn’t invite you back will have a spring rush. The number of Sororities participating in spring rush varies year to year. They may take as many as 5 to 20 new girls. The sororities you can typically expect to have a spring rush are alpha gamma delta, sigma delta tau, gamma phi beta, delta zeta, alpha phi, and alpha omicron pi.

spring rush is almost always all chapters except a few. this past year it was theta, pi phi, aphi, axo, zeta, dg, aopi, gamma phi, aopi, sdt, kkg, phi mu, agd, dz, chi o. soooooo take your chances cause it’s almost all of them always
