Suicide Bid - what's the real deal
by: SrslyIf there is a chapter I do not vibe with at all, and while I'm sure they're really great they just aren't for me, would I be penalized for dropping them of they are still on my list at the end?? I heard you get de-prioritized for all lists when you suicide.

It’s literally day two do not suicide bid. Try out all the houses out. It would suck if you suicide bid and then drop that sorority a year later bc of poor sisterhood lol. It’s too early to even think about suicide bidding you prob met like two girls max at each house lol

Pnm's don't 'drop' houses. The sororities are doing the releases and the algorithm will give you back as many houses as the max allows each round, so houses you rank low can show back on your schedule. You go where you are scheduled to go or you will be dismissed from recruitment. Suiciding only pertains to prefs, when you attend two prefs but only put one on your card. Only do this if you would rather not be in a sorority at all than take a chance with that #2 house, because if your #1 house does not rank you high enough on their bid list before they reach quota, you will not get their bid and be out of luck. But pnms who rank both houses are guaranteed a bid to one of them. And the sororities never know how any pnm ranks them at any round, so this is never a factor in their decisions.

You will not be penalized for sip ing. If you sip for ABC and match with them you will get a bid from them. If you don’t match before they fill to quota, you can’t be a quota addition, but you might be eligible for a snap bid from a sorority or have the opportunity to COB. You would not have to wait until spring.

And that last round if you sign that card even with a suicide (only ranking one house instead of both) and you don’t get that house , you aren’t eligible to participate in COB in the spring. You have to wait the entire year. Just make sure you understand the consequences .
