The big fraternities
by: SnartWith all the BS self ranking, this is what mostly everyone agrees on except those who are so salty with their fraternity. As nice as possible the big 4 would be pike(old money) theta chi(tik tok bros) KA( country boys) SAE (degenerates) those are the big ones. Not to say that the others aren’t good but those are the controlling fraternities. The better ones following that would be Ksig and sig ep both are pretty cool. Ksig has good brother hood while sig ep is more like a sorority of boys that have a cool house.

Sigep has to be in the top over at least KA or maybe SAE they were always above in the past I don’t get the sorority girl thing either. They are way better for so many reasons. SigEp stands out as a forward-thinking fraternity in all issues, including gender. SigEp has traditionally treated gender as binary, when we live in a world with increasing awareness that gender is not always binary. SigEp’s membership is currently restricted those persons who identify as male, but there is limited space in Greek communities across the country for non-binary individuals to engage. SigEp is convening a task force to explore removing any screening of gender from its membership criteria and this would also expand SigEp’s recruitment pool. KA and SAE are literally known for their racism sandals in the past especially ka with the Robert e leee and not allowing blacks

This is literally the reason why they are not top.
They were seen as top in the PAST but then fell and continues to fall because they do stuff like this and then cry racism when people don't buy their entitled bs.

“Expanding their recruitment pool”. Re-read post #5. Sig Ep is “currently” composed of men but soon they will be gender inclusive. Pike, Theta Chi, KA and SAE are, have always been, and always will be composed of men. Sig Eps at FSU are good guys. It sounds like their national is trying to impose a gender fluid membership. That will have an impact on recruitment and the morale of existing brothers.

FSU and especially the upper tier fraternities are flooded with wealth. Florida is the 3rd largest state. UF and FSU are the two flagship schools.

“Flooded with wealth” slow down. There are definitely FSU and UF families who have money and are wealthy, no one is denying that. When most people think of old money though, they think of Ivy League, USC (California), private universities like Wake Forest, Boston College, NYU, Fordham, Vanderbilt, Duke, even UM. Old money tend to value prestige and pedigree along with $$. FSU and UF are great and there are definitely students who come from families “with money” and “wealth” but not on the same level as many students from schools listed above. Old money doesn’t mean grammy and grandpa had a few mill. It’s tens and hundreds of millions that can be traced back over half a century, and most of the time more. That’s old money. There’s having money, then there’s wealthy, then there’s old money “flooded with wealth”. No hate at all. Let’s remember big banks (JPM, GS etc.) won’t even recruit from FSU and barely from UF undergrad because it’s not prestigious enough. :))
