fraternity comments

why would you say ATO is coming back strong? Didn't they JUST come back on? I mean, its pretty obvious that an ATO is on this forum. Yeah, they were one of the best fraternities when they were suspended, but is that going to carry over after 2 years?

fiji is definately a tier 3 frat not tier 2

pretty accurate over the years is IM championships. Particularly flag football. look up the history online from 2000-2008. 2000-2004 its all ATO and Sig Ep. 2004-2006 its all pike, ATO, Sig Ep, and delt. 2006-2008 its pike, delt, sigma chi, KA, phi sig, etc by default (no Sig EP and ATO). All the other "tiers" pretty much fall in line like you would expect them to.

Yep.

PIKE, Delt, LXA, EX, and KA will always be considered “top tier.” They have names and respectable reputations. Other frats have improved and can compete with them but no one’s gonna give them respect because they either don’t have a house, name, and/or reputation. Case and point: Phi Tau. Like the post below says, they’re doing well in spring IMs and I think they’re ranked in the top 5 overall. They also cleaned house with PIKE at Greek Awards and have done so for the past few years. I don’t know anything about their social calendar but do recognize a group of them that are regulars at pots. They probably are a good frat and could be considered “upper tier” BUT they don’t have a house, reputation, or name so NO ONE is gonna acknowledge them as a good frat. We would be ashamed to have a no name fraternity without a house be dominant at FSU, so we keep kicking them down while we immediately praise ATO and SAE for coming back because of the prestige their names bring to IFC.
