frat ranks/stereotypes at fsu?
by: ‘23I’m starting here during summer C and I’ll be rushing in the fall. Can someone who’s already here give me a rundown on what each fraternity is like and how they rank socially?

Homecoming never moves a frat or sorority up on the tier level. The top stays the top. You can only pair with the same house every four years. So the top houses pair with each other for four years then have to pair with the mids for a year before they can pair with the top again. During freshman year my mid sorority was paired with the top. That didn’t make us a top tier sorority and didn’t make the frat mid tier. That’s just the way the system works.
In other words, don’t use a homecoming pairing as a guide to pick the right frat for you. Figure out if you want a party house, a frat that’s big on philanthropy or one primarily focused on sorority relations. There’s good guys in every frat. Good luck.
