questions about rushing

by: CMS

I am trying to decide whether or not I want to rush this fall. I don't know much about the Greek life at fsu. Wil it be difficult to get a bid without a recommendation or a legacy? I would also appreciate any general information about being part of a sorority at FSU to help me make a decision. Thanks!

I didn't rush my freshman year, but decided to my sophomore year. It's honestly the best decision I've made! I'm so much more involved than I was my freshman year. I was nervous I wouldn't get a bid since I wasn't a legacy or didn't have a recommendation letter, but I was myself and got into a great house. I would say to at least try and go through the process and if you don't feel like it's for you, you can always drop out during recruitment week.
