Even if they do perfectly fit the look, and not to drop to the materialistic level, although we know that’s what the chapters do, who are people who are average at most to judge someone who has years and years or tradition in their family because of “their look”. That’s a shame.

Legacies who get dropped say it's not fair to not take legacies. Girls who aren't legacies and get dropped say it's not fair to take legacies instead of them. Houses do the choosing, but even then they never get every girl they want and they have to drop girls that some of the members just loved. You can look at it every way possible, but it's better to just move forward and find peace in your situation and make the best out of it. We all have to do that.

Some legacies, not all come in thinking they are owed a bid to join just because mommy, grandma, Aunt, big sister, cousin, etc were members of that particular sorority. They real don't work on trying to convict the sisterhood why a bid should be extended to them. Then you have some legacies, again not all with major attitudes that just don't gel well with the sisterhood.
