recruitment process fall 2018

Hey! So you go to the orientation and you're divided up into small groups that you visit the houses in on the first two days. After that, you get your own personal schedule based on the houses that invite you back :) there are more details on the process on the FSU Panhellenic website. I'd go there instead of here and contact them because they have all the correct info.

Yes, looks are important so make sure you look your best. However don't stress about not being a size zero. The right house will definitely love you for you. People are hella shallow and rude on here so take what you read on here with a grain of salt ok? Don't concern yourself with tiers. Trust me. I'd recommend rushing in the fall so you have the chance to meet all of the houses. In the spring, the only houses participating in rush are the ones who need to meet their required quota, so you could miss out on some houses you might really like if you wait. However, spring recruitment is more laid back so take that into consideration as well. Hope this helps! hey! i rushed as an overweight person and i was cut from most of the houses i liked on the first round. not being a size zero won’t matter though, believe it or not most sorority actives aren’t. size zero either! just try and look polished, look your best, and be confident. find the things you think will make you stand out in a good way and focus on those. best of luck :)

hey! honestly your size doesn't matter for most houses be yourself and wear what you feel flatters you. Looks are important based on if the PNM is polished or not in other words don't look like you rolled out of bed. Sorority women wake up super early to look presentable for PNMs so they expect the same back ya feel? Also, if a house drops you because you're not size 0 those aren't your people anyways.

OKAY so I rushed as an overweight person and after the 1st round I only got 6 houses back, BUT THAT IS FAIRLY AVERAGE/NORMAL. After first round 6-8 is the average number of houses you are left with typically. I ended up getting into a solid mid tier house somehow, so believe me when I say it's possible. I was shook on bid day lmao.
