greek life going downhill

Honestly, Greek Life is on a downhill across the country, not just at FSU. With all new policies and restrictions that have been placed on Greeks here and at other schools, that Generation Z are questioning whether it's worth the time and money going Greek. The same thing happen in the early 90's when Generation X showed lack of interest in Greek Life, hence the "rush recession" of the 1990's and early 2000's. History is repeating itself.

You're right. I've studied this. There was also a huge 'rush recession' in the 1970s in the wake of the Vietnam War. Then the Greeks come back strong. We've lost six FSU fraternities with about 900 men just in a year. I think FSU is trying to put us out of business. But I also think we'll survive.
