about 2000 girls are rushing for 1500 spots. People drop/get dropped throughout the week so the numbers end up almost evening out but each round housing can only ask back a certain amount of girls and with only two house prefs this year, less than 200 girls will make it to pred round. Less than 90 will receive a bid to a specific house. Being out of state doesn't have anything to do with it, if you have connections or are a legacy that helps of of course. But if you're trying to rush top tier know that those houses cut even some of the most beautiful/smartest/most involved etc. girls just because theres more girls that are rushing than bids available.
