rushing competitiveness
by: FsuIs it really difficult to get bids from a lot of the better fraternities at FSU? How much harder would it be to get into pike vs. pi kapp for example?

Fraternities like Pike make decisions fast. If they think you fit and you pass the interview, they'll offer you a bid. There's nothing wrong with Pi Kappa Phi in fact they're real good. The difference is they are willing to take more time and get to know you before giving a bid. It doesn't mean they are easier to get into. They're just not as superficial.

trying to be nice about our question. Yes, it's not a secret that Pike is a majorly stud fraternity. But realize that Pike and Pi Kapp have very different personalities as an organization. They are not at all alike in what thy do and what they want to be. If you feel like you 'fit' in one and not the other, then seriously go with the one where you feel you fit. sorry for being direct but if you don't want to be the Pike type then don't go there. if you ARE the Pike type then you won't have any trouble getting a bid. Pi Kappa Phi is a very good fraternity.

So ultimately how competitive and hard would it be to get a bid for either of these? Do you have to be a complete stud?
