end of greek life???
by: worriedi heard a rumor that president thrasher had a meeting with ifc and panhellenic and if one more scandal happens greek life will be suspended for a year. is this true?

The undergraduates don't contribute any money to the school but the alumni sure do. Most of the Trustees are Greek. Most of the $1 million donors are Greek. No one wants to see FSU suffer a 'scandal' but there's always going to be trouble of some kind as long as our students are 19 years old. Thrasher himself was 19 in Tallahassee and was an SAE here I think.
Thrasher made a joke recently about how much more time he'd have if he didn't have an athletic program or Greek life. But those two things are what keeps applications coming in as well as alumni money.
If a fraternity member does something wrong, punish him not the fraternity. If a fraternity screws up, punish them and not the system.
