how do girls get "assigned" who to talk to at rush?
by: sororityI really want to hear from different houses how they assign who takes who during a rush party. Since only one girl gets to talk with you (usually), it means everything to a PNM. How can somebody influence who they get to talk to?

rounds 1/2 are random, you might get bumped so more opportunity to talk. round 3/4 you are paired based on personality or interest. often people who did not rush you cannot speak on your behalf even if they know you personally due to time constaint so make every convo count!

Sororities vet pnms much like employers
They look at social media application ect. Pretty standard way to review people in general
"Lol" stop trying to make sororities look bad. Your repetitive petty posts on diversity and predjudice are both untrue and frankly boring
Go join a club and find your people since you despise Greek life so much

Actually: you sound petty and defensive. Employers certainly don't prejudge in the way sororities do with social media. #2 "lol" posts how houses use social media. Do try to get out of your own bubble, Actually. Try not to be so insecure. Some day when you seek a job, may you not be judged as pettily as you judge others on the basis of your post. Hoping Daddy has a job lined up for you because you don't seem to get along well with others.

Sometimes you get paired with someone who has common interests or background so you have something to talk about. Actives can speak up and ask to talk to someone based on this. If you know girls in the chapter you should never be paired with them because you need to meet others. PNM's have no influence whatsoever in who they talk to or how anything goes down at a rush party.

It's completely random! We don't do ANYTHING ahead of time to prepare for meeting over a thousand new girls who want to join a sorority! I mean, we don't look at their applications and resumes and social media ahead of time to learn about them! NOTHING! No one has ANY IDEA about the PNM's! We just wait for them to show up on our doorsteps the first day of recruitment! Because that's a GREAT plan for choosing membership in a sisterhood!
