sorority lingo
by: GonolesHow do I let a sorority know I'm interested? And vice versa? Are there some key words to look for?

Sororities are gracious and welcoming to everyone during recruitment. There are no key words that will give you any insight into what they think about you. You will only know for sure if they like you or not from the invitations you get back. If you are interested, you can say that you feel that you would be a good fit, that you feel at home, that you like everyone you have met, that they have wonderful meaningful philanthropy, that you like them more and more as you keep returning, that you can really see yourself happy there...

Even if a sorority "likes" you, you may still get cut. Every chapter has to cut some women - they may cut for grades or just because they think you'd fit better somewhere else.
