questions about rush

Coming from the other side of rush, the girls who always stuck out to me were the girls who were undoubtedly genuine. I remember one girl telling me she wanted to be an art therapy major because she enjoyed painting so much and I thought that was awesome! Girls with their own sense of style (while still looking tasteful and respectful) are also the ones I remember vividly. Don't be like me and go into recruitment wearing Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade because you feel like you need to in order to be in a sorority. I actually don't like those brands at all; I just felt like I NEEDED to wear them in order to impress the girls in the houses. At the end of the day, I ended up in a house where some of my sisters genuinely like wearing those things but most don't. We are a very diverse house, but at the end of the day we all have the same values. I hope you find that in whatever house you end up joining!
