meeting the sorority president?
by: curiousLast year my best friend rushed and told me at a top house she was pulled out of line to leave the house to be introduced to the president instead before leaving during the second round of rush. She later got dropped from the house that last day before pref and still to this day doesn't know why she was introduced to the president because she hadn't done that at any other house. Can someone explain, i'm going through rush this year and i'm just curious.

They're just being nice, don't take it personally if you're cut. Meeting the president isn't a bid promise.

I had the same experience in KD, but since girls got dropped even after meeting the president i wouldn't think too much into, maybe that one girl just really liked you or something and wanted to really make note of it with the president, or whatever, idk for sure

This happened to me at KD too. I was dropped right before pref. Who knows :/. I ended up where I wanted anyway so it's all good.

I had the an experience like this last year at tridelt. The president walked up to me and our convo was so great. I wasn't a legacy so ive always wondered why she chose me, but regardless it made me feel special and welcomed more. Could be one reason they do it. Or maybe they just need another opinion and the president's judgment on whether or not youll be a good fit is pretty accurate
