rushing and being mixed
by: TeigenHi, I am going into my sophomore year at Florida State University and I've always wanted to be in a sorority, I am honestly just afraid to rush go through panhellenic recruitment and be racially profiled in a sense. I don't know if I'm just overthinking it if they will actually be a problem.

Honestly, every panhellenic chapter at FSU is held to such high standards and would not racially profile someone. If you have any slight thought of still going through recruitment then please sign up for fall recruitment! Worse case scenario is that you go through the process and decide it isn't for you, no harm no foul. Kappa Kappa Gamma actually has an African American president! I personally know a lot of women who are of minorities that are perfectly happy in FSU chapters. Contact FSU Panhellenic if you have anymore questions about it! Honestly, it is a super common question so don't feel like you have to post on here anonymously about it. They get a lot of calls a day asking about this
