If I can't be at Fsu in the summer and am starting in the fall will I still be straight with making connections and getting a bid, or am I at a big disadvantage . (For a fraternity)

I'm litteraly in the same boys but I got boys in different frats and they each told me soon as I get there, start coming around showing my face and getting my name out. Also attending as many events that they host as I can.
