how does bid day work exactly?

So you all meet at the civic center in the morning for convocation? And then you receive your card and run to the house? What if you didnt get a bid?

If you did not get a bid, your Rho Gam will notify you. This happens before everyone goes to the civic center.

Well, that must suck for the people who don't get bids. :/ Ouch. If someone denies their bid, does a sorority offer a snap bid to someone else at least?

Technically, if you rank all houses, accept every invitation, and do not suicide after pref, you have maximized your options and should not end up without a bid. If someone denies a bid, that is not a situation for a Snap Bid. Snap Bidding happens right after bid matching. Any houses that do not make quota during the matching process can then "snap" up girls who did not get a bid. Snap bids happen before bid cards are handed out and those girls run to the houses with the other New Members and only a few people know who got a Snap Bid. Any bid that happens after that is a COB, and those can happen right after recruitment or at any time. A girl who denies her bid is not eligible for COB and must wait an entire year before being considered again by any sorority.
