why did you pref the sorority you preffed?

finding the place I'm most comfortable with, not just who was the cutest. People I knew I could see myself being friends with not people I would have to try to impress.

I was so salty when I got dropped from my top tier house the day before pref. I rushed a middle tier and met some of my best friends who support me through anything. After interacting with some of the girls in the sorority that dropped me, I'm SO GLAD I didn't rush them because 90% I hate in real life! They annoy me so much and I can't help but thank them because I love what I'm in. DON'T RUSH FOR TITLE, RUSH FOR PEOPLE!!!

I love my middle tier sorority, and I have plenty of friends who love their top tier sorority, and I have plenty of friends who love their lower tier sorority. We have so many chapters because our campus is so diverse, but also each chapter is diverse. Where you end up is honestly luck of the draw because it is based off who you talk to, and half the time you dont end up talking to the girl you were supposed to. As long as you show your true self, there will be a girl you click with that will make you fall in love with her chapter. Dont judge a chapter on its tier, judge it on the girls you talk to and you will end up happy.

When rushing look at everything and see if you connect with not just the girls but their values, if they value school along with social life. If you can connect with their philanthropy or are interested in sisterhood events they do! Look for the overall experience not just one part! I joined my sorority because they had beautiful girls who valued academics and sisterhood. Every sorority on campus is great and has great girls. I hope it works out for you and you find your home.

going into pref round i thought i knew which house i'd end up picking at the end of the day but after going to all 3 houses my opinions changed completely, pref is super important because it's obviously the longest your at a house for, when i preffed the sorority i am in now i did not want to leave after it was over, and the sorority i thought i was going to end up picking, i just felt uncomfortable during pref. so after pref you'll definitely know which house you love the most
