8 penn state fraternity members being charged
by: WowA kid died. Everyone should read this story and then read it again until you understand, this could've happened at any fraternity anywhere, you all have the same process for pledges. Don't be afraid to DO the right thing, listen to you consciouses and PLEASE don't ever let FSU get the kind of reputation shattering press that Penn State is getting. We're better than this.

Did you actually read the articles that have been on almost every news media? He was drunk due to a drinking ritual performed at the house.

Hazing will never stop unless they remove Greek life and different organizations like the marching band. Fraternities will tell you they don't have, but they all do and they always will. You literally cannot stop it from happening. Obviously what happened was horrible, but I'm sick of the liberal butt hurt that comes out of this every time there's an incident.

Is "Seriously?" a troll from Penn State? Re our quarterback Jameis, every student who was here (and the Supreme Court Judge who heard the 'evidence') heard what really took place between Jameis and the member of the "Cleat-chasers" club. He was never guilty and money was paid.
The Lambda Chi was drunk and his fraternity paid a terrible price for that accident.
But of course, all the shenanigans at PSU are a matter of settled record now, aren't they? Don't be throwing stones PSU.

It could have happen at any school in the Country. We as Greeks need to be alert and aware of what is happening during these types of ritual events. The sad thing is that the Beta Brothers didn't make a judgement call for help until 12 hours later. Common sense tells you if a pledge is not responding and doesn't look well, call for medical help fast. That is what leadership is and I know every National Fraternity teaches their members how to be a leaders and make good decisions for the good of the brotherhood. Obviously the PSU Chapter of Beta probably missed that training.
