do i have to visit all the houses during rush?
by: fsugalthere's no way i'm going to get invited back to kd, dg, zeta, etc. I'm not pretty enough. can we just save ourselves the time and skip houses we know for sure we're going to get cut from?

no, everday you are given a schedule for the houses you will visit. you will see every single chapter within the first two days, skipping a house because you "know you're gonna get cut" will result in you being kicked out of formal recruitment. they require you to visit every house so that it is fair, why would you not want to see every house? That's not a good attitude to have coming in, with that mind set you're gonna have a rough recruitment.

There is an upper classmen quota at FSU. Sophomores/Juniors/Seniors are separated from the freshman quota. So you have a great chance being a junior!

Yes, you do have to visit all the houses but I understand where you're coming from. It's very hard to come in as a PNM when you're nervous already and walk into a room full of drop-dead gorgeous model looking girls.
We've all done it though. I got cut from top tier after the first day and knew that I would. Even though the top girl girls knew I wasn't a fit for their chapter, they were still gracious and nice during first round.

i understand why she feels that way though. it could be extremely intimidating and disheartening walking into a house with hundreds of gorgeous girls and feeling that you don't fit in because you "aren't pretty enough" (but i bet the OP is beautiful<3)
