Can people guarantee themselves bids at certain fraternities by chilling w/ them a lot in the Summer or how does it work here? (rushing in Fall)

To a certain extent yes but also be careful of how you act and what you do. I've seen instances of guys who've hung around my chapter during the summer who we normally would've given bids to but as time went on they slowly shot themselves in the foot by doing stupid things. It's kind of tricky to hang around a fraternity when you're not a pledge or brother, because you have to toe a fine line

It really does seem that way tbh, the people that get bids normally either know a ton of people in that fraternity or were with them in the summer.
