opinions on frats for trans guys?
by: TGuyI'm transgender, female to male, and will be rushing in the spring, but I was curious to know if anyone would think I was making a mistake? My legal documents have not been changed but are hopefully about to start the process of being changed. I have not started hormone therapy either yet due to health and money issues but again will be starting hopefully soon. I've heard Chi Phi allow trans guys if their documents are changed and that SigEp and Delta Tau Delta are friendly but obviously I don't know how their individual chapters are. I'm just a guy looking for the brotherhood I never got to have in high school. If anyone can give me suggestions or advice I would be really grateful. Thank you so much

I admire your courage to live up to your potential and shoot for what makes you happy. I do have to warn you, although we are in a progressive time, many people are not friendly to trans people, let alone frat guys. I think you should go for it, just be aware that it could spark some negative treatment/feedback
