Yes LXA is coming back. They will have to apply through FSU and IFC. I don't know exactly when but guessing sometime in 2017. I don't know how long the ZBT lease is on their house but they couldn't fill it anyway just starting out. LXA was one of the great fraternities at FSU right up till the end. We should all want to have LXA and Sigma Chi back.

No they're not coming back for a while. The IFC presidents also voted against allowing a new fraternity to colonize on campus so it'll be more than a year until any fraternity can look to colonize here

LXA is not new. Basically they can come back anytime they want. When they have a large enough group they can apply for recognition from IFC but they can be a RSO anytime they want. IFC has no business telling someone who has had a chapter here that they can't come back.

You are so wrong it's funny, IFC gave them the boot along with nationals pulling their charter so IFC does have a say

Wasn't ZBT a non-IFC fraternity for years? I remember hearing that they were an RSO but not in the IFC. That changed when they got the old LXA house. Any ZEBEs here to confirm deny?

From what I understand, ZBT operated as an underground fraternity after the original chapter was closed from 2001-2009. In Spring 2010 their IHQ and expansion team presented themselves to the IFC for approval as a new colony not affiliated with the underground fraternity to receive associate recognition and then full recognition in IFC once they are chartered.

I don't see why youd say IFC doesn't want them back as soon as possible. They were great.

Great in Greek life does not equate to great in IFC's eyes. Plus what makes a chapter great is the individual members, not the national fraternity so you can't use that reasoning

Why do people obsess about the possible return of lambda chi? All of you will be graduated from FSU if/when this ever happens. Give it a rest.
