how important/relevant are tiers?

Do they really matter that much? Girls in top tiers, do you think differently of lower tier sororities or don't really care

honestly during rush if you really wanted to get into a top house, you can. if tiers mean that much to you then go for it, get into a top house, but personally i went into rush without knowing a thing about tiers and I love my chapter and i know i belong there. i met girls i've loved in "bottom tier" and girls i haven't liked in "top tier". But i get it, some girls really care and would only be happy in a top tier house, nothing wrong with that, but most people I talk to don't care about the tiers, they're made up so don't look into it too much. every chapter has its up and downs

Being in a top tier is ALL that's matters.... otherwise join a club

Most people in "top tier" chapters get all too wrapped up with all the wrong priorities and end up peaking in college, then lead pretty sad lives after
