rushing as a junior
by: idkI pledged a sorority this fall as a sophomore and i haven't been initiated yet but Im definitely having seconds thoughts. I've really tried to give them a chance but i just don't think i fit in where i am. Is it impossible to get a bid as a junior? I know its obviously easier to get one as a freshman but i don't want to go through all of rush again and end up just as unhappy as I am now. sos

you should quit before initiation. It's not fair to your sorority or you. Just realize that it is less likely that rushing as a junior will go better for you than it did as a sophomore- probably not as well. You might stand a better chance re-rushing in the spring.
Is your GPA awesome? Are you active in campus clubs? Have good friends in sororities that will invite you over to meet their sisters and for meals? Volunteer on campus or in a local charity? If you answer no to any of these, think hard before you quit.

Go ahead and rush. my friend rushed as a junior and got in top tier. Just have a BFF or two in the sorority u want, have a decent GPA and you're golden. If u have enemies in a sorority, be careful because it can backfire on u too.
