to PNM: become friends with girls in the chapters you are interested in ! I overdressed for spring rush came in with my hair and makeup on fleek and told them about how excited I was to get involved and named positions I was genuinely interested. Bring your A game because it is all about being extremely memorable!

Your HS resume' won't count anymore, so hopefully you have joined an org or two on campus. Are you doing any volunteer hours? Those are also important. Sororities want members who are active on campus and in the community.

Knowing some chapter members is very helpful for spring rush. If you are good enough friends you can tell your friends you are interested in rushing in the spring and you would love to learn more about their sororities. Maybe they would invite you over for lunch or dinner which would allow you to meet more sisters.

Aopi will most likely not do spring rush because it already took over quota, TBD though

Has nothing to do with whether or not a sorority can take a spring pledge class. It has to do with total- the total amount of members the sororities can have. If a chapter's total membership drops below total, that sorority can rush to fill those spots. If your sorority pledged quota plus, but your chapter is not over total, you can pledge some more girls until you reach that total number.
