Give them a chance. At least go to pref and let them give you their most meaningful pitch. AGD is considered bottom tier but they are improving, and to continue to improve they just need pledges to help them get better and better. A lot of girls are dropped from recruitment altogether so getting any bid is a good thing.

What PNMs don't understand is that a good pledge class can do amazing things for a chapter. Not that they will vault to the top immediately, but suddenly you have girls in other houses saying, "Oh yeah, I know some AGDs and they're really cool and fun," and the chapter rises in people's minds.

Even being bottom tier at FSU is like being mid or upper mid at most schools. Especially because here there is still panhel love for every chapter. Seriously in some places the lower tiers just get totally shat on constantly.

If you don't think you belong there than don't join and spend thousands of dollars being a part of something you don't love.

AGD is an amazing group of women. ..give them a chance, the worst that can happen is that you fall in love with their chapter and find your Greek home! :)
But you will never know unless you take the chance. don't make the mistake of passing up a great group of women just because they don't fit into a certain mold that you are told they should.
