why?

Why are the "top tier" houses considered to be the "top tier houses". I don't want to hear answers saying the tier system doesnt mean anything or blah blah I am just curious. Also, what is each sorority actually known for. Not asking for anything bad, just asking.

Basically the tier system is based off of looks... not entirely but mainly it is.

The tier system on greekrank is based almost solely on how attractive each sorority is, has very little to do with involvement or sisterhood.

Yes, its based on looks but every sorority has some good looking girls. The elite top tier is based on their % of beautiful girls and the absence of girls who might look like they don't belong to that sorority.
