1. I wouldn't wear Lilly tbh, but anything cute and trendy is fair game
2. Please wear a full face of makeup, as shallow as it sounds it truly does matter and sororities will drop you if it looks like you didn't really try
3. I'm not going to name any sorority lol if that's what you're going for there are for sure some sororities you might want to stay away from but you can figure that out during rush.
4. No, a lot of people drop and a lot of people get dropped from recruitment for many reasons. My advice for this is, even if your favorite house drops you and you don't love the options you have left, to just go through the rest of recruitment and bid day, wait a week and if you really don't feel at home then drop. Dropping mid recruitment doesn't make a lot of sense to me because one of the sororities you have left is probably a better fit for you than the house you loved that dropped you.
5. Chi O I would say focuses a lot on academics, I know they initiate in the spring because they check fall GPA. KD and AXO are also very focused on academics.
6. No, you should not be in contact with anyone in a sorority at FSU during rush.

Adding onto what everyone has said, do your hair!! You will be sweating bullets, but at least try

1. If you don't normally dress preppy, don't dress preppy. Wear something that is 100% you. If you're not comfortable in Lilly, that's okay!
2. Really don't recommend wearing too much makeup, but if you want to wear a full face stick to liquids and creams. Don't use powder unless its a translucent powder. Cream foundation will last longer than powder, and invest in a primer.
3. Every sorority has down to earth girls, its up to you to find them.
4. Not everyone gets a bid. It sucks, but its true. About 95% of girls who go through with pref will get a bid.
5. The top 5 sorority gpa's in order (Chi O, Sig Delt, Alpha Chi, Phi Mu, Zeta)
6. You shouldn't talk to actives during recruitment.
