preppy/southern sororities at fsu
by: NAWhat would be considered a "preppy" or southern-ish sorority at FSU? Would you consider them that way for the way they dress, act, or both?Thanks!

kd, adpi, xo, phi mu- very preppy, very southern, blonde/big hair, physically (fashion wise) basic. Can come off a little try hardish trying to make Derby fashion a thing if you get what I mean. Carry at least one Lilly product on them at all times. Mostly blonde. Nice girls.
ddd kappa aopi gphi- not 100% southern, more like 75%. Traditionalist girls but who are slightly less preppy, put together but not annoying (if that makes sense). Classy but not overdone.
zta pi phi a phi agd dz- very middle ground, very normal
fashion sense. Streetwise kind of thing but can dress up for the occasion. Every day style is pretty normal. Pretty liberal. Just very middle ground, can really swing either way
dg theta axo sdt- least southern houses you're gonna find. Very boho and modern and urban and trendy. Edgy.

i think they're just going for a general description of what is seen around campus. My house is listed as not preppy, and my fave color is pink and I love Lilly and I feel I dress pretty preppy. However a lot of girls in my house dress very edgy as they put it. Plus they're talking about fashion not personalities if that's what you're worried about

I totally agree with this. A house may not overall be preppy but you're gonna find girls who are all into the same stuff as you in any house. My house is considered like the furthest thing from preppy, but myself and few other sisters I know all have prep blogs.

Honestly this isn't true. Whoever just listed all these sororities is inaccurate. My chapter is nothing how the person above me described and I think it's annoying how someone not even in my chapter takes on the role of describing a house they're not even in. And that doesn't just go for my house but any house they're describing. Seriously, girls have no right to be labeling a house they're not a part of.
