chances at rush
by: srtnoleI'm genuinely concerned about rush because I'm thicker than most girls. I'm definitely just as pretty as any of the others out there, but Im super afraid of not getting a bid because I'm a bit bigger. My grandma was an ADPi and I have a lot of rec letters - I also have type 1 diabetes which is the issue with weight gain.

Along with the diabetes part, I know of other chapters that have T1Ds as well and no chapter is going to discriminate you for having it. All chapters have girls of different sizes so just relax and look forward to recruitment!

Don't be anxious and don't worry about the pathetic person above. They probably have an eating disorder or something and need to take it out on others. If anyone won't take you because you have weight due to a disease like diabetes you definitely don't want to be in that chapter. Be open minded and love yourself.

be prepared, rush is brutal. YOU will have your feelings hurt its inevitable. Not because of your size but because there are so many girls and only so many houses. If you stick out the entire week and really focus on the houses that keep calling you back you will end up somewhere. Don't get stuck on just one.
