sorority rush qs
by: Curioushow competitive is rush this year compared to other years? Also, how many girls does each house typically accept. Should I be nervous for rush or just go with it? What do sororities look for in the girls they're recruiting for them to be a top recruit? I'm just curious

Recruitment is competitive every year. As far as how many women each chapter accepts it all depends on what quota will be. Quota is set right before preference parties and depends on how many women are still involved in the process. Last year it was around 90. Just be yourself going through! Every chapter has wonderful things to offer and the best thing to do is keep an open mind and not listen to negative talk or rumors.

Rush is VERY competitive at FSU for virtually all houses... In terms of selectivity the following houses are probably the MOST selective of members regardless what their "tier" rankings are..this may be because certain houses have criteria that they usually don't deviate from(academics for instances)
Most selective regardless of tier-
zta/kd/adpi/xo/phimu
All the houses at FSU are great, so keep an open mind as you progress through recruitment and don't be upset if a certain house doesn't call you back. Take the opportunity to look closer at those that find you interesting and want to further know you. There is a reason..

last year quota was 100, which means the max any sorority could take was 100. This year it should be around 110-120.
