true fraternity tiers going into fall

Top: Pike (best of the best and a dynasty)/ DTD (long standing Top Tier frat, very guido)/ Phi Sig (top, but falling recently)
Lower Top: Phi Delt (nice house and solid sorority relations)/ATO (Very similar to Pike)/ Phi Tau (going down)
Upper:Thera Chi (good house, girls love them, but have some goobers)/ KA (southern, but get KDs and girls love them)/ Pi Kapp (good sorority relations and solid guys)
Upper Mid: Kappa Sig (on the rise, great house and good parties)/ Sig Ep (similar to Theta Chi)/ Chi Phi (very average, have some creepy guys).
Lower Mid: ZBT (huge self-rankers, house is filled with goobers)/SAE (very southern)/ AEPi (nothing special)
Lower: Beta/FIJI/ADPhi
Bottom: DChi/TEKE/Sigma Pi

Pretty accurate; very good in fact. Even with the obviously self-ranking "very similar to Pike" mirage, ATO is still pretty good. There are a lot of good fraternities. If you are a freshmen and you want to pledge, I'd encourage you to not get pushed into taking a summer bid unless you're a legacy or you know in your heart that is the only fraternity for you. I'd say 90% of all the men who pledge wait until fall rush. FSU has a lot of good fraternities. Look around.
